Karahöyük Mountain

This mountain, located east of Gürpınar (Salguma) village in Kayseri, has almost no vegetation (I think its name comes from this).

The mountain looks like a completely solid block of rock, and there are two large quarries on its northern side.

The mountain's summit is 1,777 meters high and there is a flag at the top.

The eastern side of the summit is flat, and there is a second peak immediately to the north.

The villagers believe the mountain is the village's water reservoir and are now complaining about the increasingly large quarries.
