Gökpınar Lake

Located 200 km from Kayseri, this uniquely blue lake is breathtakingly beautiful. Situated within the borders of Gürün district in Sivas province , it can be reached from the town center. An asphalt road leads to the lake, which also features hotels and restaurants. The lake is home to a variety of fish, and nearby are trout farms. It's actually a water source, and you can see the bubbling water at the bottom. The water is so clean you can see the lakebed at a glance. I heard that diving training is offered at this lake. The municipality has done a beautiful landscaping job around the lake, with picnic areas, restrooms, walking paths, and ornamental waterfalls that truly suit its surroundings. Because it's located in a depression, you don't get much sunlight after late afternoon. Small boats are available along the lake, offering a short boat trip. It's a beautiful lake worth visiting to relax, enjoy the blue waters, and see this vast body of water.
