Elbiz

If you think Elbiz is just a restaurant and cafe, you're mistaken. Elbiz is a corner of paradise where history and nature go hand in hand within the city.

Elbiz is located in the center of Develi district in Kayseri. Elbiz is one of the finest, perhaps unique, examples of a combination of a huge pool that has survived from Roman times to the present day, centuries-old monumental plane trees rising right next to it, and a tea garden.

The pool's architecture is beautiful; you can see it in detail in the photos below. During the summer months, the management company releases trout into the pool, making the view even more breathtaking. Elbiz has two centuries-old monumental plane trees, each with a plaque at its base.

A lovely place to go with the family on weekends, where you can sip tea and enjoy local specialties like Develi Cıvıklısı and various grilled dishes (alcoholic beverages are also served).

My suggested menu: A pot of tea, warm thin flatbread, Tulum cheese, sliced tomatoes, and strained yogurt.
