Dip Seki
Dip Seki: Located on the western slopes of Erciyes, just above the Sakar vineyards, between Kızılören and Hacılar, this area boasts the only wild forest within Kayseri's borders. Composed mostly of wild poplar and oak trees, this forest stretches as far as the eye can see along the rugged slopes. Villagers use this forest as a summer pasture to graze their animals; access is difficult due to the poor road conditions. Hiking trails wind through the forest.
Wild boars and wolves make up the main wildlife, and there is also a source of fresh water.
