Çamdere Valley

Located east of Gürpınar neighborhood in Kayseri Province, this valley stretches from Gürpınar to Güllüce. Approximately 10 km long, it is home to numerous oak and local poplar trees. I don't understand why the locals call it Çam Dere (Pine Valley), as I didn't see a single pine tree there. Perhaps the valley was once adorned with pine trees, who knows?

There are only a few caves in the valley, and I couldn't find any traces of current or past life in them.

During my walk through the valley, I saw two rabbits, and there was also a carved animal pen in the valley.

The water flowing through the valley had decreased considerably; it's clear the water flow increases in the spring months, and I saw rock formations along the water's course that could be waterfalls. It's likely that at least one waterfall cascades through this valley in the spring.
